Golden Gate Garden Design                                                        Present Position

Sole Proprietor of a landscape construction and maintenance business, specializing in the design and construction of  natural beauty through stone and garden for both commercial and residential properties.

 

Manchester Landscaping, South Kingstown, RI                    1995 through 2009

Expertise acquired in all phases of landscaping and stone masonry while working for an established Landscape Architect and Stonemason, including crew supervision.                     

                             

Specialty Projects

 

Construction of the Moon Gate at Kinney Azalea Gardens, a well-known South Kingstown, RI landmark.

Restored a historic stone wall on the property of one of the oldest homes on Block Island, RI.

Construction of a crescent-shaped wall and perennial

garden at the Narragansett Public Library, Narragansett, RI.

Installed landscaping and constructed stone walls at the Courthouse Center for the Arts in Kingston, RI.

Renovation and re-construction of brick work and walkways at the

Roger William Zoo, Bronze Dog Statue, Providence, RI.

Installation of gardens at selected historic properties along Ocean Road in Narragansett, RI.

Construction of the Century Walk at University of RI, and the installation and maintenance of gardens at Alumni Center and White Hall, Kingston, RI.

Landscaping and construction of stone walls at the Outdoor Memorial Classroom along the Saugatucket River in Wakefield, RI.

Landscaping and planting at the new construction of the Broad Rock Middle School in Wakefield, RI.

Construction of a Memorial Garden in the Village of Wickford, RI.

Masonry work, plantings, landscape construction, installation and maintenance at Peace Dale Congregational Church in Peace Dale, RI.

Maintenance of selected historic graveyards in South Kingstown, RI.  Also organized crew of volunteers to re-position fallen head

stones.

Participation in the annual Rhode Island Flower Show at the Convention Center in Providence.  Constructed elaborate gardens and masonry displays on site.

Volunteered to design and construct a memorial brick walkway at the Port of Galilee, Fisherman’s Memorial Steeple, Narragansett, RI.
